Details - Course Description:
- Swim -
The first wave of the swim will start at 7:30 and proceed at three-minute intervals.The 1.2 mile swim will take place in Lac La Belle and will be a one-lap swim. Lac La Belle is an inland lake fed by Lake Superior via a shipping channel, and it offers a calm and warm sanctuary from the rough waters of Lake Superior. Wetsuits are encouraged.
- Bike -
The 56 mile bike will be a one-lap route that heads southbound on the Lac La Belle - Gay Road out of town. The first 25 miles are fairly flat, but once the course turns past the town of Gay, the terrain becomes rolling. Expect some major climbs (Category 2/3) and a fast return to transition, but make sure your brakes work for the Lac La Belle Road descent!

The 13.1 mile run will include some two-track and country road with views of Lake Superior and little to no traffic.
